The idea for this initiative came from our Director, Philisiwe Dlamini Mehlo, who observed her learners arriving at school early in the morning already sweating, caused by having to walk a long distance. We then partnered with the school and many others to supply hampers. As the South African economy continues to struggle, parents often cannot prioritize these things. The hamper consists of toothpaste, toothbrush, roll-on, shoe polish, Vaseline, and a facecloth.
